Day 2:  

Dye Colour: Periwinkle Indigo & Lac.  Indigo blue & lac pink layered to make a periwinkle purple tone.    

Knitting Pattern: Butterfly Eyelet Stitch. Cut day 1's yarn leaving a tail of 15-20 cm, join Periwinkle and follow charted pattern for 17 rows. This is a repeat of 10 stitches which looks fantastic as a staggered repeat.     

Row 19:  RS. Sl 1 purlwise, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker. K2, yo, sl1 k1 psso, k5. *k2 tog, yo, k1, yo, sl1 k1 psso, k5* , repeat from * to * 3 more times. K2 tog, yo, k2. Slip stitch marker, k3. Turn work. (59 sts).

Row 20 & ALL WS rows: Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, purl 53, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts).  

Row 21 repeat row 19. (59 sts). 

  Row 23: Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, Knit to 3 before end, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts).    

Row 25: Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker. K4,  k2 tog, yo, k1, yo, sl1 k1 psso. * K5,  k2 tog, yo, k1, yo, sl1 k1 psso * . Repeat from * to * 3 more times. K4, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts).    

Row 27: Repeat row 25 (59 sts). 

Row 29: Repeat row 23 (59 sts).  

Row 31 – 35: Repeat rows 19-23.

Errata:  corrections from printed pattern supplied with physical advent calendar. Day 2 – Rows 19, 21,31, 33. Every 13th, 23rd, 33rd, 43rd, 53rd stitch should be K2 together (not knit). Rows 25 & 27, every 8th, 18th, 28th, 38th, 48th stitch should be K2 together (not knit).
