There’s a new bollard cover at the top of the Old High Street, to celebrate St Georges Day on 23 April. It will be in place daily for the next 4 weeks, from 10am to 6pm and is located in between The Great British Shop and Folkestone Rocks.

St George and the Dragon have decided to talk about their problems over a nice cup of tea and cakes from Steep Street’s takeaway service, instead of going at each other with claws and swords.

The bollard includes facts about the real life St George. Did you know he was born in modern day Türkiye?
